i would also like to help but im still teaching my self to code with visual basic but i would like to be of any help. I read the whole thing on ipod touch fans but it seemed to bet getting off topic so i posted here. But if you need something anyone could do like testing stuff like that i would love to be of assistance i only have blue tooth head set and phone tho. If you still need some one for linux i could partition my hard drive and install that w/e you need and if its in my grasp ill help.
